Lazy Days

Finally I can call these incredible Sandro sneakers my own!! They have been on my wish list for a while, but I was always waiting for the right ones to come round.  This season they have an incredible selection of styles, ranging from plain black snake skin sneakers to multi coloured pink-purple-blue sneakers, but these ones with the leopard print and studs were just too good.

The pants are by Gap, a comfy alternative to leggings, and the leather jacket by Zara is a great contrast to make the outfit more day appropriate.  The watch is by Marc Jacobs, bracelets and necklace from Asos.  Grey goes great with the gold and the tan coloured shoes are the perfect way to spice the monotone colours up a bit!

Delicious cake in a cup

If you are in Los Angeles or surroundings and have the chance to go to Newport Beach, then first of all you have to go to Fashion Island and check out the stores.  There are a few generic shops that you can find anywhere, a few cute boutique style shops for women and also big department stores with the latest high-end fashion pieces.  And if you have a sweet tooth like I do, then you have to pay a visit to Casey's cupcakes.  These were by far the best cupcakes I have eaten in a long time, with a delicious and scrumptious icing on top and a wonderfully fluffy cake.  I tried both a peanut butter and also a surfer boy cupcake, if I can correctly remember, a vanilla cupcake with fancy decoration and loved them both.

Hermes All-round

Sandro skirt
Lucky Brand Jeans black tank top
Office flats
Ray-Ban sunglasses
Prada mini nylon bag

For Christmas this year I was given this beautiful Hermes scarf that is an absolute all-round talent in terms of accessories.  In the photos I am wearing it as a bracelet, however it could just as well be a head band, a bow around a pony tail, a bow around the neck, or just a decoration for the handle of a hand bag, that can be used to spice up a plain bag according to the occasion.  This specific scarf is reversible, the one side shown is rather pink, with small ballerinas dancing on it.  The other side is mainly green, so this band alone is very versatile.  I adore how easily it can work with any outfit, something casual such as jeans and a white t-shirt will get a splash of colour, but it also would work with a little black dress in the evenings or during the day for work with a suit.  It is simply a fabulous piece!

As well as that I am also wearing blue and purple earrings by Konplott.  So far I have seen their stores only in Germany and Luxembourg, so I am not sure about the availability outside of these countries.  If you can, you should check their shop or website out!  Konplott makes fashion jewellry with a very distinct style, their pieces always being displayed in collections of matching earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings.  But most pieces are so fabulous that just one of the elements stand out by themselves.  Also great pieces that work with different outfits and also greatly complement the Hermes band.
